Board Partners is a boutique board advisory firm. We help publicly-listed, private, government and not-for-profit organisations improve their governance and board effectiveness.
Jane Stuchberry is the founding Director of Board Partners. She designs and delivers projects relating to board and committee effectiveness, board renewal, director performance and assessment, and governance. Jane has a proven track record in maximising the performance of Boards, individual directors and senior management.
Prior to founding Board Partners, Jane led the Board Effectiveness practice at specialist board advisors Diligence Board Advisory, and Guerdon Associates.
Previously, Jane was a Principal in the Human Capital Practice at Mercer, where she established and led the Performance and Talent Management business. Prior to joining Mercer, she managed the People Strategy Practice within the Human Capital consulting divisions of two leading global firms – Ernst and Young, and Andersen. In 2003, she started Ernst and Young’s Board Evaluation Practice.
Jane has extensive experience in undertaking external board evaluations for publicly listed companies including Orica, Aurizon, Duet Group, Washington Soul Pattinson, API (owners of Priceline), InterOil (US listed), Beach Energy and RCR Tomlinson and non-listed organisations such as Perth Airport.
Jane’s professional qualifications include a first class honours degree in psychology (BA Hons) and an MA in Organisational Psychology from the University of Melbourne. She also is also the Chair of a not-for-profit board (Family Planning Victoria) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
